Preliminary Notice Forms and other states Preliminary Notice forms and Notice to Owner forms are used to protect your lien rights
As of July 2012 ALL contractors that contract directly with a property owner are now known as Direct Contractors (DC's). Also effective July 2012 is that now ALL contractors including ALL DC's must do the preliminary notice.
