How the purchase works:

• Click the "Download Now" button to download the form
• Fill in the form using your computer
• Print the form

Instantly upon completion of your purchase you'll be given a "Download" button on your payment confirmation page to download your new California Mechanic's Lien form (in addition you'll receive an instant confirmation email with a link to download the form again).

A "zipped" or "stuffed" file will download to your computer and "unstuff" itself, presenting you with a folder with three documents enclosed: a Word version and a .pdf (Adobe) version of the lien form, and a free filled-in sample form.

How the forms work:

There is an in-depth instructional read-me file that will tell you exactly how to fill in and print both forms. :)

Word version: This version of the form works with Microsoft Word for both Windows and Macintosh. Tab through the form and fill in the blanks. When you're done, save a copy of the filled in form under another file name, print it and you're on your way. This form works ONLY with Microsoft Word.

Acrobat/.pdf version: This version of the form works with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5.0 or later for both Windows and Macintosh. Tab through the form and fill in the blanks. When you're done print it and you're on your way. In case you don't have the free Reader, we've included a link in the confirmation email and the instructional read-me file that is included with the forms.

Preview: The previews work with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5.0 or later. If you don't have the free Reader and you'd like to see the form before purchasing it, please download the latest version of the free Reader here.
